improved over the recent years. It has a delightful rose clad and

modern first school and hairdresser’s. Dorchester is about 9 miles,

facilities as well as the main line rail service to London (Waterloo).
The historic abbey town of Sherborne is about 11 miles to the north.

There are a variety of sporting and leisure pursuits in the area
including golf at Dorchester (Came Down) and Sherborne; sailing
and water sports along the coast, the 2012 Olympic sailing events
due to be held in Weymouth Bay and Portland Harbour. There is
excellent walking and riding in the immediate vicinity with a network
bridle/footpaths.
