Tresa has spent the last ten years designing bespoke gardens and outside spaces for private and commercial clients in London and throughout the UK.
Her experience has convinced her how a well-designed garden can have a positive effect on a property’s value - no matter how large or small. From a tiny courtyard in the city to a six acre plot surrounded by countryside, a well designed outside space can truly enhance any property.
Tresa has worked with and provided designs for a number of major house builders and property developers in the UK. This has involved landscape schemes for large housing estates as well as more sensitive projects such as Grade II listed buildings.
In 2007, one of Tresa’s designs for Modular Garden won a gold medal in The Daily Express New Homes Garden Awards for Best Roof/Terrace/Penthouse Garden. In its fifth year now, these awards have helped promote the relationship between home and garden for new builds, and are incentivising new house builders to include a quality outside space in their budgets.
When marketing a property, too many estate agents only focus on the building and its interior rather than the entire plot. It’s assumed the garden is a bonus rather than a commodity that might actually be highly sought after and could clinch the sale of the property.
We are passionate about gardens and so will only promote estate agents and property developers who consider an attractive, well designed outside space an asset in selling a property.
